Week 1
Fundraising:
Start by sponsoring yourself and donate $25 to your cause. Total = $25.
Training:
Keep track of your progress in your online training tools so you can stay focused on your fitness goals – and don’t give up!
Week 2
Fundraising:
Send an email out to everyone you know. Ask 7 friends to donate $50. Total = $350.
Training:
Run with a buddy to stay motivated.
Week 3
Fundraising:
Ask 3 businesses you frequent to donate $75 each (e.g. doctor, dentist, dry cleaners, etc.). Total = $225.
Training:
Create a music mix for your ipod or walkman to inspire you during your workouts.
Week 4
Fundraising:
Follow up on your fundraising letters and emails. Ask 3 coworkers to donate $50. Total = $150.
Training:
Plan your workouts the day before or in the morning so you’ll be prepared.
Week 5
Fundraising:
Plan a fundraising party with at least 25 people (e.g. Collect 50% of $20 cover charge for happy hour). Total = $250.
Training:
Try to mix up your workouts and make it fun! Try yoga, weight training or Pilates.
